We are searching for a dedicated individual to step into the role of Assistant Vice President of Learning Technology. As a key leader reporting to the Vice President of Business Technology Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our learning technology ecosystem. This position ensures the effective delivery of products and services that support academic programs and faculty administration.

In this dynamic role, you'll engage in both strategic and operational responsibilities, focusing on the Learning Management System (LMS) and its seamless integration with other systems such as the SIS, CRM, and Workday. Your mission will include managing vendor relationships and ensuring 24/7 availability of technology services for our online business, supporting over 200,000 students and 10,000 faculty members.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an enterprise learning management system team, overseeing solution delivery and support for both online and face-to-face academic programs.
  • Collaborate with ITS leaders to create a cohesive end-to-end student experience, aligning technology solutions with the academic journey.
  • Oversee the technical roadmap to foster continuous improvement in educational technologies and embrace advancements in generative AI.
  • Promote the adoption and integration of learning technologies while analyzing operational data for ongoing improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and lead internal communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Support content strategy and the shift in content management capabilities across academic programs.
  • Mentor and guide product managers in cultivating a collaborative and positive work culture.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases that include budget estimates and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with teams focused on data, AI, and analytics to align strategies with institutional goals.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Accept other responsibilities as assigned.

What We Are Seeking:

  • 10+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years managing personnel responsible for digital educational technologies or systems.
  • Strong background in Business Relationship Management.
  • Experience within a university setting is preferred.

Compensation:

The annual pay range for this position is $125,298.00 - $200,516.00, with the expected target hiring range between $138,456.00 - $187,323.00, depending on your skills and qualifications.
