Well respected Community Health\nCenter seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and customer\nservice. Duties include but are not limited to assisting providers during\npreparation and provision of patient visit, interviewing patient’s and\nobtaining reason for visit, room preparation, specimen collection and\nprocessing, medication administration, documentation in electronic health\nrecord and patient discharge. Facilitates communication between internal and\nexternal customers.
Compensation: $23.48 Per Hour
Education:
\n\n\n\n
· \nHigh\nSchool Diploma or GED required.
\n\n· \nMedical\nAssistant Diploma or completed a United States Armed Forces medical services\ntraining program required.
\n\n· \nMinimum\nof 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant.
\n\n· \nAny\ncombination of education and work experience that meets the necessary skills\nrequired will be considered.
\n\n· \nCardiopulmonary\nResuscitation (CPR) certification required.
\n\n· \nValid\nFingerprint clearance card required.
\n\n· \nCertified\nMedical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
\n\n· \nMust\nhave reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the\norganization during the workday.
\n\n· \nValid\ndriver's license and proof of insurance may be required if driving during work\nhours and/or if requesting mileage reimbursement.
