Overview

Partnered with an established hospital in southern New Hampshire that has an opening for a Pediatric Neurologist to provide locum coverage.

Opening Details

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-5p
• Call shifts required
• Setting: Outpatient
• Daily Volume: 10-12 patients + a low callback volume
• Cases: Childhood seizures, epilepsy, ADD, and bread & butter neuro
• Occasional consults in a Level III NICU
• EEG lab onsite with 5 techs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Pediatric Neurologist New Hampshire state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Pediatric Neurology program
• One year of work experience as Pediatric Neurologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
