HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health for a travel nursing job in Torrance, California.

• Shift : 5x8s, Day shift (07:00–15:00)
• Charting System : HomeCare HomeBase (Required)
• Attire : Any color scrubs
• Parking : Free

• Position : Hospice Admissions RN (Field Role)
• Daily Patient Visits : Up to 6 patients per day
• Admissions Per Day : 2
• Productivity Standard : 30 points/day
• Population : Primarily geriatric
• Location Coverage : Los Angeles County
• Transportation : Required (must have own vehicle)
• First-Time Travelers Accepted : ✅ Yes

• Experience :
  • Minimum 1 year of Skilled Hospice RN experience within the past 3 years
• Certifications Required :
  • BLS
• License :
  • Active California RN License required
• EMR Experience :
  • Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase

• End-of-Life Care :
  • Death pronouncement, postmortem care, family counseling
  • Ethical/legal aspects: advanced directives, organ donation, palliative sedation
• Symptom Management :
  • Pain assessment, use of WHO analgesic ladder, breakthrough dosing
  • Constipation, nausea, vomiting, ascites management
• Phlebotomy/IV :
  • Start and maintain IVs
• Patient/Family Education & Support :
  • Advance care planning, symptom education, emotional support

• Strong internal logistics team helps minimize windshield time by clustering patient visits
